Curtis Gilmore Memorial Scholarship

The Friends of the Olathe Public Library will be presenting two $500 scholarship to graduating seniors who have completed 40 hours, or more, of volunteer work at the library (Olathe main or Indian Creek). You may count hours beginning the summer before 9th grade through 12th grade.  

The two $500 scholarships honor Curtis Gilmore, a youth library volunteer from 2003 to 2005 who passed away in 2007. He was a senior at Olathe North High School and due to graduate in May 2007. He contributed 116 hours of volunteer time at the library from 2003 – 2005. He is fondly remembered for his humor, friendliness and commitment to helping others.

Applications are due by 5 pm, April 4, 2014.
