SHOW AND (STORY)TELL - For all ages

Monday, September 25
3:30 - 5:30 p.m. @ Downtown

In this year's Big Read (The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien), American soldiers of the Vietnam War carry necessary supplies—things like food rations and boots—and they also carry things that remind them of home or an important memory.  Every object has a story, and it's time for you to drop in and share yours!

We ask that participants bring a photo, stuffed friend, family heirloom, or a small artifact (no living things please), and we will help turn it into a story using writing, art, and oral storytelling.  Each story collected will be complied into an online magazine to be shared with the Olathe community.  All ages welcome.  Kindergarten and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  No registration.  Come and go as you please.
