It was a beautiful sunny morning on Saturday at Frontier Park and a great day for our Summer Reading Kick-Off. Around 800 people attended the festivities. Kids, teens and adults got reading folders and learned about our summer programming. Plus there were frog relays, chess games, temporary tattoos, snacks, a duck pond, and lots of fun. It was a great beginning to our "Make a Splash--READ!" summer reading program!  Check out the pictures below.
And if you couldn't make it to the Kick-Off, it's not too late to get a summer reading folder. Just stop by either Olathe library anytime and pick up a folder to keep track of your summer reading. There is still a lot of fun to be had this summer at the library!
