ruby-bridges-movie.jpg Are you looking for something special to do on Martin Luther King Day?  How about watching a free movie at the library?  Both Olathe libraries will be showing the film "Ruby Bridges" on Monday, January 15.  This is the inspiring true story of one little girl whose strength and dignity during the racially charged 1960's changed history. The film will be shown at the following times:           • Monday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Main Library           • Monday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Indian Creek Branch Library The running time is about 90 minutes.  No registration is necessary.  Because of strong subject matter, some scary situations and the use of racial slurs, we are recommending this movie for 3rd grade and above.  Parents are welcome.
