The library's second annual LEGO Design Contest will be held on Saturday, April 14 at the Indian Creek Branch.  This contest is for kids in K - 5th grade.  Kids build their own original LEGO creations at home and then bring them to the library the day of the contest to be judged.  Registration is required and begins on Monday, March 26.  Click here to see the complete contest rules and information.  You may also pick up a rules sheet at either Olathe library.

Here is a brief rundown of the LEGO Design Contest shedule:

Contest Day Schedule ‐ Saturday, April 14th:

12:00 noon to 1:00 PM       
          Entrants drop off creations and fill out entry forms

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
          Judging ‐ Meeting Room will be closed to entrants and to the public

2:00 PM to 3:45 PM
          Public Viewing and voting for Best of Show ‐ Entrants are welcome at the  Public Viewing, but are not required to be
          there

4:00 PM
          Awards Ceremony ‐ Entrants need not be present at the Awards Ceremony to win, but all non‐winning creations must
          be taken home after the ceremony

5:00 PM
          Library closes ‐ All non‐winning creations must be picked up by 5:00 PM
