The Children's staff at both libraries would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season.  Stay warm and enjoy your time with friends and family.  If you are looking for something fun to do while school is out, here are a few free opportunities at the library.

Bedtime Stories for a Winter's Night
     Tuesday, December 28 - 7:00 p.m. @ the Indian Creek Branch

Bundle up in your jammies and bring the family to the library to listen to some bedtime stories.  Stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds, but everyone is welcome.  Stuffed animal friends are welcome too!

Free Family Movie - How to Train Your Dragon
     Monday, January 3 - 2:00 p.m. @ the Indian Creek Branch
Enjoy a free movie at the library!  The whole family is welcome, but kindergartners and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  Seating will be on the floor so feel free to bring a pillow or blanket.  How to Train Your Dragon is rated PG with a running time of 98 minutes.

Family Chess Night
     Monday, January 3 - 6:30—8:00 p.m. @ the Main Library

Come play chess with a worthy opponent at our Family Chess Night.  Boards and equipment will be provided.  All ages and playing levels are welcome, but kindergartners and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Family Movie - Despicable Me
     Tuesday, January 4 - 2:00 p.m. @ the Main Library

Enjoy a free movie at the library!  The whole family is welcome, but kindergartners and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  Seating will be on the floor so feel free to bring a pillow or blanket.  Despicable Me is rated PG with a running time of 95 minutes.

Of course, there are always tons of great books and movies waiting to be checked out.  It may be cold outside, but you can always curl up with a good book or movie.  So come see us during your winter break.
