Children's Book Week is May 7 - 13, and we'll be celebrating with a variety of activities at both Olathe libraries.

Stop by the Children's Department at either Olathe library between May 7 - 13 and guess how many bookworms are in the special container. Whoever guesses closest to the correct number wins all the gummy worms. Yum yum!
FAMILY CHESS NIGHT
Monday, May 7
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Main Library
Come play chess with a worthy opponent at Family Chess Night. Boards and equipment will be provided. No registration. All ages and playing levels are welcome, but kindergartners and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
PRESCHOOL CRAFT

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Indian Creek Branch
Thursday, May 10
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Main Library
Bring you preschooler to the library during the times listed above and make a special sun visor! No registration. Come and go as you please.
BOOK SWAP DAY

10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Main Library
Children in 5th grade and younger may bring 1 or 2 gently read books to the Main Library anytime on May 9 and swap for a new read! What better way to celebrate Children's Book Week than with a new book?
