On February 7 at the Indian Creek Branch Library, artist Rob Hatem kept a roomful of children captivated as he talked about his life as an artist and shared a variety of his artwork. After getting the kids inspired, he led them in an art activity. The kids were each given a piece of paper with a few random shapes on it which they then turned into a unique picture. It was fascinating to see how each child interpreted the shapes and brought his/her own creative vision to the exercise. Click on the pictures below to see some of the results.
